Artist Statement

“Painting is therapy and Art brings a balance in our everyday lives”

Nature serves as both the foundation and essence of my work. The expansive beauty of the natural world and the ever-changing transformation of life within it continually inspire and captivate me. The idea of different forms of life interacting in harmony fills me with a sense of wonder and motivates me to paint. My view of nature is an innocent, friendly world where humans and animals coexist and share a peaceful, sociable atmosphere.

This vision becomes a central theme in my artwork, where I aim to capture nature as I imagine it—creating a childlike, imaginary sanctuary that provides both a refuge for my mind and soul. I paint to share this dreamlike space with others, inviting them to experience the joy, peace, and humor I find in the natural world.

Inspired by the old Masters, I strive to keep my artistic process pure, focusing on a minimal color palette and working with oil or acrylic on canvas. My technique is simple yet deliberate: I layer colors, blending them directly on the canvas or palette, using intentional brushstrokes to create depth, texture, and light.

My work often features wildlife, accompanied by a narrative of imagination, as though I’m crafting a story for a gathering of children. Through my paintings, I hope to offer warmth and joy, while expressing a sense of harmony, peace, and humor in a world that feels both familiar and fantastical.
